Ramin Ramazanov, Founder and Managing Partner of Accounting.Az, Visa’s accounting and tax advisory partner in Azerbaijan, delivered a presentation at the event.
The session focused on the use of business cards in companies’ daily financial operations, more efficient payment processes, and the proper recording of these transactions in accounting.
Drawing on practical examples, Ramin Ramazanov explained how business cards can support everyday business needs, including urgent payments, managing employees’ business expenses, payments to international service providers, and other operational costs.
An important part of the training covered the accounting and tax implications of business card transactions.
Ramin Ramazanov emphasized that the effective use of business cards goes beyond making payments quickly and conveniently. Proper documentation of transactions and compliance with applicable accounting and tax requirements are equally important.
