A meeting was held between the State Tax Service and business representatives.
The State Tax Service (STS) under the Ministry of Economy held another meeting with business representatives. The meeting aimed to discuss the challenges businesses face in tax-related matters and ways to improve the business environment.
The meeting focused on “Tax Returns and Desk Tax Audits.” Representatives of consulting companies, accountants and experts took part in the discussion. Ramin Ramazanov, Head of Accounting.Az, also attended the meeting.
The main topics included tax administration, compliance controls and issues related to digital systems. Participants discussed technical and practical challenges related to desk tax audits, improvements to tax returns and their attachments, issues with online cash registers (NKA) and fiscal receipt data, as well as integration with the information systems of the State Tax Service.
The challenges accountants face in their daily work were also discussed. It was noted that necessary improvements to some of these issues are expected to be made in the near future.
STS representatives also shared information about upcoming improvements. These include simplified tax return forms, further automation of processes and the introduction of a pre-filling system for tax returns.
